John Cavanagh's Soundwave featuring Czesław Śpiewa
In his latest Soundwave, John Cavanagh plays some Polish music and recalls his recent visit to Poland.
W swojej najnowszej audycji radiowej John Cavanagh puszcza Czesława i wspomina swoją niedawną wizytę na Lubelszczyźnie. Powtarza też swoje ulubione, nieodzowne przy polskim stole, zdanie...
You can listen to it by clicking HERE - TUTAJ można posłuchać.

Okna Lubelskie - Windows of Lublin
Lublin
While walking through the streets of the Old Town, now and then we'd come across these mysterious photographs in the windows of old tenements. Bringing life to the tired walls... Encouraging passers by to stop for a while, and to wonder about the stories of Lublin and its past residents...
It took me and John quite a while to get to the top of Trinitarian Tower (1819), as we got enchanted by the chaotic layout of artworks and old instruments in hidden nooks and crannies. When we finally reached the balcony on the top, the view of the Old Town and beyond was spectacular!
Trinitarian Tower is my favourite place in Lublin!
And here are a few windows of some familiar cottages in Lublin Voivodenship.

A little window half way the tower.
And a huge window in one of the many galleries...

Syry
I loved waking up to this view...
Everybody seemed to be growing tomatos...
There's nothing like the taste and the smell of home grown tomatos!
Samoklęski
This picture was taken in 2009. No downpours this time...
Michów
An intriguing mixture of holly water, onions, shells, rocks and nails... :)
Kozłówka
It was supposed to be a blog about charming windows... but I couldn't resist sharing this quite an average window behind a really charming peacock!

Pisanki Michała Chomiuka
Easter eggs by Michał Chomiuk
I have recently visited my friend Michał, who lives in Michów, Eastern Poland.
I loved his Easter eggs art! Here are some photographs I'd like to share.
